Grupo Diria first began its investment in the Tamarindo area in 1992 with the purchase of the Tamarindo Diria Hotel. The owner, German investors, recognized the tremendous tourism potential this area of Guanacaste had to offer and continued to build upon Grupo Diria’s holdings in the seaside resort town. Today, Grupo Diria is the single largest landowner in the Tamarindo/Langosta area focusing its efforts in the area of resort property, transportation, environmentally sound development for both commercial and residential use. Tamarindo Diria Hotel
Purchased of the Tamarindo Diria hotel, one of the first hotels build in Tamarindo. With inicially 70 rooms, with the years extend to now 240 Rooms, 4 restaurants, coffe shop and several Bars, commercial center, casino, and a convention center.
1993
Tamarindo Regional Airport
Purchased and renewed of the tamarindo Airport, operated by Grupo Diria and sevaral local Airlines.
